Common questions

How do I set a reminder?

Open a task, tap When, and pick a date and time. The first time, iOS asks whether Taskel may send you notifications. The reminder is saved either way; it can only notify you if you allow it. Reminders are scheduled on your phone, so they go off with or without a connection.

Why did the app need a connection once?

On first launch Taskel creates an anonymous account: a random id with no name or email in it, so the app can be upgraded later without losing your data. That takes a moment online. After it, Taskel works offline.

Can I lock the app?

Yes. In Settings, open Account and turn on Require Face ID under Privacy. Taskel then asks for Face ID, or your passcode, when you open it. You can choose whether it asks right away, after a minute, or after fifteen minutes away.

How do I delete everything?

Settings › Account › Delete Account. It erases your data on the phone and deletes the anonymous account from Supabase. If your phone is offline at that moment, that step may not complete. Email [email protected] and we will remove the record by hand. There is no server copy of your tasks, so nothing is left anywhere else. It cannot be undone.

When is Taskel AI coming?

Taskel AI and Cloud Sync are not in this version. Join the waitlist and we will email you once, when they are ready.

How do I report a problem?

Email [email protected] with what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. Quote the version line at the bottom of Settings, the one that starts with "Taskel": it tells us exactly which build you have.
